The vineyards from which Kono sources its grapes are spread predominantly throughout the sub-regions of Marlborough. Each have their own unique micro climate and soil type, each with its own distinct flavour profile. The difference is the key to blending a truly authentic expression of the region’s terroir. APPEARANCE Bright golden with green reflections.

NOSE Vibrant fruit-driven nose bursting with tropical fruits and herbaceous characters.

PALATE On the palate luscious flavours of citrus zest and pineapple combine with notes of currant leaf and sweet red pepper. Finely balanced with zesty acidity, an underlying minerality, and just a hint of residual sweetness which brings to a long, dry, and persistent finish.

PAIRING Pan-fried freshwater fish, grilled prawns, garden salad and Asian-style seafood dishes are a very good match with this crisp wine.
